Water Filtration and Disinfection Systems

Water Purification Systems

Drinking palatable and potable drinking water is always taken for granted. The reality is that drinking water from the faucet can be contaminated from leakages in the drinking water pipe delivery systems. Drinking water can also be contaminated if the centralized drinking water treatment plant is not able to handle the hydraulic load during rainy seasons. These may be some of the reasons why we continue to see a decline in our water supply quality up to this very day.

It is important to have properly maintained water purification systems installed in our homes, schools, and workspaces that enable us to drink uncontaminated water. Below are standard diagrams of “Point-of-Entry” and “Point-of-Use” ultraviolet (UV) water disinfection system installations.

UV is an extremely effective disinfection technology, however for the proper functioning of a UV system, water quality plays a very important role. Pre-treatment parameters for the water would include a UV Transmittance of 75% or greater for the UV disinfection to be truly effective.

As water purification systems start to fail, employees can get sick from the water they drink. Recommending and maintaining easy-to-use water purification systems are very important to Watercorp. Solutions can be customized based on the needs of each individual client to properly disinfect the drinking water supply to ensure safe drinking water.
